Data we collect

Focus Break is designed to work without collecting personal information. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or device identifier for tracking purposes.

Data stored on your device

The app stores app preferences and session-related values (for example: selected focus preset, soundscape preference, and daily “Thought Fuel” state) locally using Apple system storage.

If you use the widget, the app may store a small subset of these values in an Apple App Group container so the widget can display your current preset/time on your Home Screen.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Focus Break schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about session and break timing. These notifications are generated on-device.

Purchases (Premium)

If you purchase Premium, purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your payment information.

Third-party services

Focus Break does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. (Apple system services may still be involved for distribution, payments, and crash reporting at the OS level.)

Children’s privacy

Focus Break is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date.
